Groom Law Group is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to support our growing litigation practice area by performing a variety of general litigation support duties. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter and team player with the ability to balance competing demands on a variety of litigation matters. The ideal candidate must be an effective problem- solver with excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills. Some overtime needed and occasional travel. Hybrid format with ~1 day per week in the office in NW Washington DC. Responsibilities Job Duties and Responsibilities Case management of federal litigation class-action matters, filing court documents, and other general paralegal support Drafting, proofing, and finalizing federal court and litigation related documents Preparing deposition and trial materials Coordinating discovery documents in various review platforms, e. Relativity, Epiq Discovery, etc. and general discovery related tasks Bluebooking legal citations and fact checking of various memoranda Qualifications Education and Experience A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or paralegal certificate is required Experience with litigation support software and Microsoft Office preferred Federal court experience a must Civil litigation experience a must Competencies Excellent organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Strong time management skills Ability to multitask with competing deadlines Ability to communicate clearly Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team Equal Employment Opportunity and Accommodations Groom Law Group, Chartered is an equal opportunity employer.
