From day-to-day regulatory, compliance and operational matters to an acquisition or other strategic transaction, our banking practice handles a wide range of issues for our financial services clients and is uniquely qualified to help banks and other financial services companies succeed in a complex and rapidly evolving industry. We have an immediate opening in our Milwaukee office for a Banking and Financial Institutions Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the financial services industry and exceptional analytical and communication skills. Duties Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of regulatory, compliance and transactional matters. Draft and review legal documents, including vendor contracts, definitive agreements for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, asset transactions and debt and equity transactions. Assist in due diligence for financial services transactions. Provide legal advice and support to clients on regulatory and compliance matters. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements. Represent clients in structuring and negotiating strategic transactions. Stay updated on changes in financial laws and regulations affecting clients’ interests. Draft and review corporate documents, such as board resolutions, bylaws, and policies. Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in legal research and analysis. Strong drafting and reviewing skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
