This is a remote position, with occasional travel to Wilmington, MA and Boston, MA . </div> <br> <div></div> <div> The Staff Attorney will provide legal advice to business leaders on a broad range of commercial matters, and will assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts across all business units and corporate functions including general commercial contracts (both service and product oriented), procurement contracts, consulting agreements and licensing agreements. </div> <br> <div></div> <div> <b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Work with contract review staff and business leaders to draft review and negotiate commercial contracts across all business units and corporate functions.</li> <li>Work with procurement staff to draft, review and negotiate vendor and purchasing contracts.</li> <li>Work with the senior attorneys to draft, review and negotiate licensing agreements, partnership and collaboration agreements, consulting agreements and other related corporate agreements.</li> <li>Assist the paralegal staff with general legal matters and contract review.</li> <li>Perform legal research, develop and give presentations on commercial law and commercial transaction topics.</li> <li>Perform all other related duties as assigned.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <div> <div> <div> <b> Job Qualifications</b> </div> </div> <div> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) and Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school in the US, EU, or equivalent common law degree and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.</li> <li>Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience, either in a mid-size law firm or large law firm setting, or corporate setting, or combination thereof.</li> <li>An equivalent combination of education and significant in-house legal experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.</li> <li>Certification/Licensure: Current license in any US State Bar, or equivalent jurisdiction licensure, as an attorney in good standing, qualified to practice law.</li> <li>Other: Knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze case law and provide actionable recommendations.</li> </ul> <br> <div></div> <div> <b>Physical Demands:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.</li> <li>Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.</li> <li>Regularly provides information to and receives information from/through various technologies, media, sources and contacts. Must be able to accurately exchange accurate information in these situations.</li> </ul> </div> <br> <div></div> <div> <b>Work Environment:</b> <br> <ul> <li>General office working conditions.</li> <li>The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> <div> <div> <div> <b> Compensation Data</b> </div> </div> <div> <p> The pay range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000.
