We are proud of our efforts to produce technology and impact payments in most parts of the world. This in-house position offers an opportunity to work with a wide range of legal matters.</p> <p></p> <p><br> In this role you will work with a team of strong, focused legal professionals who are setting the bar for work in fintech. You will draft and negotiate complex contract terms related to financial services and technology. You will also conduct regulatory analysis to provide counsel on new product launches and aid in compliance. In this position you will have the opportunity to be involved with innovative minds and the future of fintech.</p> <p></p> <p><b><br> Ideal Candidate: </b>The ideal candidate will have experience with payments laws, financial regulations, data security/privacy, and money transmission. We will also strongly consider corporate counsel with experience in areas such as M&amp;A, complex corporate transactions, joint ventures, securities, or franchise matters.</p><br> <p></p> Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Draft, revise, and negotiate agreements on behalf of the Financial Services business units (payments, accounts, prepaid, bill payment, mobile, etc.)</li> <li>Assist Compliance division with maintaining money transmission licenses, responding to audits and applying for new licenses</li> <li>Conduct regulatory analysis and prepare memorandums for new products and services to determine compliance and legal requirements</li> <li>Review and revise cardholder agreements, marketing materials, website terms of use and other collateral items for compliance with federal and state data privacy, consumer protection &amp; disclosure regulations</li> </ul> Qualifications:<br> <div></div> <ul> <li>5+ years of legal experience required</li> <li>Admitted to practice in Georgia (or another state) and in good standing</li> <li>Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements</li> <li>Must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and ‘outside the box’ thinker with excellent time management and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage changing priorities and a diverse range of legal duties, and a desire to innovate and excel.</li> <li>Possess a high level of independence, initiative, creativity and attention to detail using excellent business judgment as well as strategic thinking skills.</li> <li>Primary focus is U.S.; may include some international commercial work.</li> <li>Financial services industry experience strongly preferred, including any experience with payments laws, financial regulations, data security/privacy, credit/debit/prepaid, money transmission, or other electronic payments.</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> <i><br> InComm Payments provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran’s status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.</i> </div> <div></div> <ul> <li><br> <b>This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus Program - Tier III</b></li> </ul> <div> <b> #LI-Remote</b> </div> </div> <div></div></div>
