May provide functional advice or training to less experienced attorneys.</p> <p><b> What you’ll do</b></p> <ul> <li> Review, negotiate and draft contracts and transactional documentation related to global commercial real estate services, including facilities management, project management, transaction management and consulting services.</li> <li> Identify and assess legal and risk issues.</li> <li> Develop understanding of key insurance products and risk management principles.</li> <li> Provide legal counsel and guidance to executives, managers and other employees on legal aspects of the Global Workplace Solutions business line.</li> <li> Maintain current knowledge of the law in areas of special interest to the business.</li> <li> Conduct legal training sessions (either live or virtually) and assist in the preparation of training materials.</li> <li> Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.</li> <li> Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project team.</li> <li> Leads project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower-level employees.</li> <li> May have responsibility for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating a work unit and/or group.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <div> <p><b>What you’ll need</b></p> <p> J.D. from ABA accredited university</p> <p> Member of applicable State Bar in good standing. 10 years of private practice and/or in-house experience</p> <p> Ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with the Company’s executives, professionals, staff and other employees, as well as with legal colleagues within the same department and globally, and to negotiate contracts opposite experienced in-house counsel and sophisticated outside counsel. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees and client groups to take desired action.</p> <p> Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations of significance to the operation.</p> <p> Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and set priorities with excellent follow-up skills and organization. Experience in supervising outside counsel is helpful.</p> <p> Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
