THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an attorney with 5+ years of financial services litigation and / or mortgage foreclosure experience in New England state and federal courts. This is a reduced schedule, salaried position designed to be flexible on location, and is a “remote” (working from home, even post-pandemic lockdown) position with access to any of our local offices as needed. This Counsel/staff attorney role is designed to be part of a client service team and ideal for a lawyer who does not presently seek to be in a partner-track position, but wants to continue providing top-quality legal representation for a select group of national clients with a defined volume of matters. YOU HAVE 5+ years of commercial litigation experience in New England state and federal courts Significant experience representing lenders, banks or other financial institutions in consumer financial services litigation and mortgage foreclosures, ideally with related bankruptcy experience. Attorneys located in Rhode Island, Connecticut, or Massachusetts will be considered. Admission in Rhode Island and/or Connecticut is a huge plus, although ultimate admission/waiver into Massachusetts will be required. Desire to work remote and off-track, with a predictable schedule that encourages healthy integration of work responsibilities and personal activities.
