Clark Hill is seeking a California-licensed Contract Attorney to assist our litigation business unit. This is a parttime, hourly role with an open-ended contract. Candidates must have 5+ years of litigation practice experience and an active California Bar license. The Contract Attorney will work exclusively on a team defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty actions. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills: Experience with high-volume litigation matters, such as warranty, insurance defense, or asbestos Substantive trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience Experience working with e-discovery software Exceptional advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills Strong academic credentials Detail-oriented and highly organized with a solid work ethic Strong interpersonal and communication skills All Clark Hill contractors are W2 employees. The pay range for this role is $80-100/hr. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
