Bankruptcy Paralegal Dispute Resolution & Restructuring Brown Rudnick is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our Dispute Resolution & Restructuring team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with deep expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring matters who thrives in a fast-paced, high-stakes legal environment. As a Bankruptcy Paralegal, you will serve as a strategic partner to attorneys, leading complex case management efforts and mentor junior paralegals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to high-profile cases and drive operational excellence across the practice. Direct casework for complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters, ensuring strategic oversight and timely execution of all phases. Draft, review, and finalize sophisticated legal documents including motions, fee applications, proofs of claim, and court filings with minimal supervision. Serve as a primary liaison with courts, trustees, clients, and opposing counsel, representing the Firm with professionalism and authority. Supervise and mentor junior paralegals, providing training, guidance, and quality control. Oversee docket monitoring and deadline management, ensuring compliance with court rules and internal protocols. Handle preparation and submission of monthly, interim, and final fee applications, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment with client expectations. Own electronic filing (e-filing) processes in Federal Courts, including U.S. Bankruptcy and District Courts, and troubleshoot complex filing issues. Collaborate with attorneys on pitch materials and client presentations, contributing substantive insights and strategic documentation. Support internal process improvements and compliance initiatives related to bankruptcy practice operations. Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to firm-wide initiatives related to legal operations and client service delivery. Minimum 6+ years of progressive legal support experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, preferably within an Am Law 100 or similarly sophisticated environment. Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certification preferred. Advanced proficiency with CM/ECF, PACER, and legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis). Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and legal calendaring tools (e.g., Compulaw). Strong command of Bluebook citation standards and legal writing conventions. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience mentoring junior staff. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority matters with precision and professionalism.
