Job Description: The Miami office of Holland & Knight has an immediate opportunity for an international tax attorney for its Private Wealth Services practice group with 4-6 years of experience in advising foreign and domestic clients on U.S. federal income, gift, and estate tax matters. Core Responsibilities Include: Focus on pre-immigration tax planning Drafting of domestic and foreign trust instruments for international clients (priority) Cross-border investments and formation, and oversight and reorganization of complex international structures International information returns, streamline filings, and withholding tax compliance Job Requirements: LL.M. in Taxation is required JD from an ABA-accredited law school Spanish or Portuguese language skills preferred Admission to the Florida Bar or eligible to become licensed/transfer Relocation to Florida is acceptable Immediate transferable skills A strong academic background Excellent research and writing skills, detail oriented Must have a deep commitment to client service The ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize matters Strong communication skills, and the desire to continuously learn new things Please submit a cover letter, resume, transcript, writing sample, and representative transactions to be considered.
