If you are a mid-level Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years’ experience and are interested in joining our employment law group at Carney, please reach out to us with your resume and cover letter. A successful candidate has litigation experience, is self-motivated, loves to communicate and ideally has some exposure in advising corporate clients on L&E matters. The candidate should be capable of working independently with clients and other attorneys in the firm. This role will have exposure to commercial litigation opportunities when time allows. Your experience should include: day-to-day client counseling on hiring, employment agreements, shareholder agreements, terminations, non-competes, wage and hour laws, FMLA, discrimination in the workplace, harassment, retaliation, COBRA, HIPAA, personnel policies and handbooks and workplace investigations. Preferred credentials include excellent academic background education, demonstration of professional expertise and successful client development/marketing. Jury trial and traditional labor law experiences are a plus. This is a great opportunity to join a growing practice area within an existing client base of a service-oriented firm.
