ROLE Kennedys is looking for a Paralegal to join our Liability Defence team in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic and global law firm. TEAM The Kennedys office in Hong Kong was established in 2000 and has now grown to 7 partners and over 20 lawyers, many of whom are multi-lingual. As one of the leading international firms in Hong Kong, our core practice areas include insurance and reinsurance, corporate insurance, corporate and commercial, litigation and dispute resolution, financial services and corporate regulatory and compliance, information technology, cyber and data privacy, healthcare including medical negligence, and casualty. Kennedys dedicated Liability Defence Team is consistently recognised as amongst the best in Hong Kong. We handle a wide range of casualty claims from minor slip and fall accidents to complex catastrophic accidents, as well property damage. Our clients include some of the largest insurers in the world and major employers in Hong Kong. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Diploma in Legal Studies or Degree At least 1-2 years’ experience in personal injury and employees’ compensation claims (preferably for defendants), able to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent command of English and Chinese (spoken and written) Excellent analytical and organizational skills and good interpersonal skills About Kennedys Kennedys is a global law firm with expertise in dispute resolution and advisory services.
