Baker & Hostetler LLP is seeking an associate (3-7 years of experience) to join its growing Labor & Employment Group, nationally ranked by Chambers USA and “Best Law Firms.” The position offers the opportunity to work with our regional, national, and multinational clients. Qualifications include: • Admission to practice law in Colorado; • Superior academic credentials; • Highly effective and detail-oriented writing and oral communication skills; excellent research skills; • Ability to manage a fast-paced, complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues; • The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to succeed in a collaborative team environment; • At least three years of experience in Labor & Employment practice, including in two or more the following areas: Labor and Employment litigation, Restrictive covenant and non-compete matters, Proficiency drafting pleadings and motions and handling E-discovery matters; Wage and Hour Class action defense; and Experience advising and counseling clients concerning the myriad of workplace issue is highly desired. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes: • An affinity for research and writing; • Strong leadership qualities; • A keen attention to detail Location: This position is located in Denver, Colorado. Salary: The expected annual salary range for this position is $220,000 - $260,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program.
