<b>About the role:</b>
<br> Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its US Corporate Legal team and support continued growth in its commercial contracting practice.
</div>

<b>Your responsibilities include:</b>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial documents including master service agreements, statements of work, SaaS/Cloud agreements, software license agreements, supply agreements and information security agreements</li>
<li>Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation and the National Defense Authorization Act</li>
<li>Help drive process and consistency across contracting streams</li>
<li>Counseling and advising internal clients on legal issues</li>
<li>Representing and supporting internal clients in contract negotiations with external parties</li>
<li>Partnering with internal business clients to ensure agreements are consistent with corporate policies and processes, as well as the desired business arrangement</li>
<li>Develop and provide training to internal clients and stakeholders on company policies/processes, best practices and relevant laws and regulations</li>
<li>Liaise with outside counsel as warranted</li>
</ul>

<b>Required Qualifications:</b>
</div>
<ul>
<li>Juris Doctor; active good standing in one state bar in the US</li>
<li>5+ years combined experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements</li>
<li>Deep understanding of contract law and legal concepts, including their practical application in a business environment</li>
<li>Ability to summarize and communicate legal concepts in clear and concise manner with a broad audience, at all levels of the organization (including members of the Executive Committee)</li>
<li>Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload in a fast-paced working environment</li>
</ul>

<li>In-house legal experience supporting an IT or broad-based contracting group</li>
