<p> We are currently looking for an expert lawyer to join our Legal Intellectual Property & Sourcing Americas team with a focus on procurement contracts for the Americas’ region. The role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and the right candidate will work closely with colleagues in the region, as well as in Switzerland, UK, Poland, Singapore and other locations. In your senior advisor role supporting a variety of internal clients and partnering closely with the Bank’s Procurement organization you will be advising on regulatory outsourcings and other procurement contracts with external vendors in the Americas’ region. The role focuses on providing strategic legal advice on issues such as outsourcing, data protection, confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, indemnification, representations, warranties. It involves the opportunity to advise on relevant legal risk considerations in the context of design and implementation of internal frameworks relevant to the Americas’ region and globally.</p>

<p><br> You are a motivated, solution driven contract attorney with proven understanding and practical working knowledge of intellectual property, data protection, cybersecurity laws. You are willing to work independently as part of a regional and worldwide team negotiating a wide array of strategic and tactical procurement contracts for the bank. A successful candidate will bring:</p>
<ul>
<li>A sound legal background with a minimum of 10 years of professional relevant experience as an attorney in a law firm or an in-house legal department engaged in drafting and negotiating commercial contract negotiations. Proven experience at a bank or a financial institution will be a plus.</li>
<li>J.D. from an ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials</li>
<li>Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state and in good standing</li>
<li>Excellent legal and analytical skills and exercise of judgement with high ethical and control standards</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, multi-tasking and time management skills which enable you to establish and maintain effective client relationships and trust and maintain timelines</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly both orally and in writing.</li>
<li>Willingness to work with a variety of personalities as part of a regional and worldwide team</li>
<li>Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value varied perspectives.</li>
