Miller & Chevalier is seeking an experienced Senior Associate/Counsel with six or more years of experience to join our ERISA Litigation and Employee Benefits practice group. The ideal candidate will have: Significant experience advising clients on a full spectrum of issues relating to ERISA-covered employee benefit plans Significant experience litigating ERISA cases in federal trial and appellate courts Experience interacting with and representing clients before government agencies in administrative investigations, including the Department of Labor (DOL) and Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) Significant knowledge of ERISA’s fiduciary, prohibited transaction, reporting and disclosure, and claims administration requirements Strong written and oral communication skills, including brief writing Experience with ERISA class action pension and retirement plan litigation a plus Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and J.D. transcripts to Julia Mattson, Recruiting Manager, at jmattson@milchev.com.
