Erise IP, a mid-sized law firm, is seeking a motivated associate to join its nationally ranked and growing patent group in either its Kansas City or Denver office, specifically in the areas of patent prosecution and IPRs before the PTAB. Remote work also is acceptable if you are not interested in moving to KC or Denver. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials (top 33% of class preferred) and preferably at least 2–4 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patents before the USPTO. Admission to the Patent Bar is required, and a background in the field of computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering is preferred. The ideal candidate should have strong writing and communication skills and an ability and excitement to learn about unfamiliar and new technology.
