About the Real Estate Section Mintz’s real estate practice represents domestic and international clients in sophisticated, large-scale real estate acquisition, disposition, joint venture, development, financing, and leasing transactions. Responsibilities Mintz is seeking an associate with 3+ years of commercial real estate experience to support acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing transactions. Candidates must be able to provide efficient legal service independently and as part of a team, quickly integrate into our national real estate practice, provide the highest quality of client service in support of a broad range of complex transactions and be dedicated to professional development consistent with this on-track position. Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm encourages working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm’s published guidelines. Qualifications Graduated with a JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school Must be admitted or eligible for admission in Massachusetts Experience representing sophisticated owners and operators of commercial real estate as borrower, buyer or seller, and landlord Familiarity with the full life-cycle of a transaction and able to review and comment on loan documents, leases and purchase agreements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professionalism in working and engaging with clients and investors Ability to prioritize, stay organized and exercise attention to detail Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings About Mintz Mintz is an Am Law 100 law firm with over 500 attorneys serving clients worldwide.
