Description We are seeking an Environmental Associate with 5-6 years of experience in pesticides (FIFRA), chemical control (TSCA), and occupational safety and health (OSHA) to join our preeminent national chemical control practice to work in our Washington, D.C. Office. Responsibilities may include compliance counseling, enforcement defense, preparing rulemaking comments, OSHA citation contests, and representing coalitions and trade associations. Candidate should possess strong academic credentials, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to assume immediate responsibility. Demonstrated comfort with regulatory, technical, and government policy issues is essential. Background and experience in science is ideal but not required. Given the firm’s team approach and extensive client contact, ability to relate with a variety of people is imperative.
