The nationally recognized Real Estate Litigation Group at Pryor Cashman LLP seeks an associate in class years 2020 or 2021 with substantial commercial litigation experience at a New York law firm. This is a unique opportunity to join this top-tier practice – one which possesses a diverse client base and handles a wide variety of highly sophisticated commercial litigations, with a focus on real estate litigation and high-stakes hospitality industry litigation. The practice is part of the general litigation group and, due to the magnitude of the work, often involves attorneys in the general litigation group as well as other departments in the firm (including the real estate transactional group). The group is comprised of five partners (led by Todd Soloway), one counsel, and four associates, and boasts a team-oriented, collegial environment that encourages associates to take on responsibility to foster and expedite their development as litigators. Excellent professional and academic credentials are required, in addition to a dynamic personality and an ability to think on one’s feet. Experience in real estate litigation is not a requirement. Salary: $215,000-$235,000.The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. The firm is a team-oriented, collegial environment, which encourages associates to take on responsibility to foster and expedite their development as litigators. The firm also encourages associates to be entrepreneurial in developing client relationships of their own.
