Thompson Coburn is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the drafting,negotiation and closing of commercial lending transactions, with a firm understanding of issues involved in Article 9 secured transactions and meaningful experiencein drafting and negotiating intercreditor agreements. Experience with tax-advantaged financing, various tax credits, real estate and/or mergers and acquisitions is preferred but not required. Candidates should be licensed to practice in Missouri. The practice isan active and diverse commercial finance practice with a focus on tax-creditsubsidized equity and debt financings. Transactions are multi-faceted,often involving public/private partnerships with two or more sources of debtfinancings and multiple equity investors. The successful candidate willbe an outgoing self-starter who can quickly take an active role in thedocumentation, management and closing of these transactions and will beexpected to work closely with all transaction parties, including banks andother financial institutions, private equity firms, state and localgovernments, and their respective counsel.
