Our goal is always to deliver optimal results at the best possible value. MG+M has an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal in our Miami office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case material Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners Monitor case filings and scheduled deposition for our client(s) Prepare for trials for our national client(s) Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time. Candidate Requirements: 5 years of litigation experience preferred Asbestos litigation experience preferred Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner Capable of independent work Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Ability to professionally communicate with a wide variety of individuals Act with a sense of urgency when needed Possesses a strong understanding and abides by the policies and procedures of the firm Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and legal systems such as Westlaw, File & Serve Xpress, PACER Why Should You Apply?
