Finance Associate (Structured Finance and Securitisation)

We are looking for an associate to join our finance and real estate (FRE) team in our London office. The candidate must have deep exposure to acting for lenders ideally (both financial institutions and alternative capital providers), in UK and European commercial real estate finance transactions secured on a broad range of assets. They should be comfortable writing complex loan agreements and have a good understanding of the dynamics of intercreditor agreements; with running transactions; of identifying security perimeters and overseeing the drafting and negotiation of security documentation; in overseeing a deal team, including local counsel; and in engaging with counterparties, both legal and commercial, with confidence and clarity. Extensive experience of loan-on-asset financings, and some experience of loan-on-loan financings is essential. Any candidate that has diligenced assets and documented the sale of assets on to repo lines will be at an advantage. This is to be backed up with outstanding technical skills, solid organisational skills and an enthusiastic, can-do attitude. Being a team-player is a must. This role will be well-suited to a motivated candidate who is keen to build relationships (both internal and with clients) and develop new business.
