Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP are looking to recruit a UK or EU qualified lawyer to join the London Competition practice. We are specifically interested in newly qualified candidates and candidates with up to 4 years’ PQE. Successful applicants should have strong academics from a leading academic institution. Candidates should be interested in working in all areas of antitrust. Ideally, they should have experience in at least some of the following areas: • EU and UK merger control; • Article 101/Chapter 1 cases (e.g., cartel investigations); • Abuse of dominance (Article 102/Chapter 2); and • Competition litigation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a market-leading UK and EU competition group. Candidates should ideally have spent time working in London or Brussels and have experience interacting with the European Commission and/or UK competition authorities.
