THE OPPORTUNITY: We have an exciting opportunity for a Servicing and Special Servicing Associate to join our growing Charlotte office and the Real Estate Department. THE DAY-TO-DAY: As an associate in the Real Estate Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. YOU HAVE: At least three years of extensive experience with servicing or special servicing matters, including consents, assumptions, defeasance, default management or commercial securitizations. At least three years of extensive experience in dispositions, acquisitions and financings of commercial real property. Interest in joining and actively contributing to a dynamic department handling a broad range of matters for a diversified client base. Excellent academic credentials, as well as high level analytic, verbal and written communication skills. Admission to the North Carolina bar is required, South Carolina is a plus.
