Description
Porter Wright has an opportunity for a Labor & Employment Associate in the Columbus, Ohio office to represent clients in labor and employment litigation, individual lawsuits, and provide general employment counseling to clients. This position will also handle a diverse range of employment-related matters, including discrimination allegations, wage and hour claims, collective bargaining, employee discipline, unlawful harassment and retaliation, labor law, NLRB matters, and workplace investigations. Qualifications include: Two to five years of experience in Labor & Employment law including Workers’ Compensation Strong research and writing skills Must be admitted to the practice of law in the state of Ohio Ideal Candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes: Emotional Intelligence and Humility Exceptional project management skills Willingness to collaborate and work on teams Strong work ethic and desire to grow as a valued member of Labor & Employment team Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines Ability to engage in internal and external relationship building Interested candidates should send resume and cover letter to David Zimmerman, Recruiting and Human Resources Manager at recruiting@porterwright.com.
