BakerHostetler is seeking a Trademark associate to join its nationally recognized Intellectual Property practice group. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of trademark experience, including experience in global brand protection, trademark counseling, trademark prosecution, trademark clearance, licensing, and enforcement, including cease and desist letters, notice-and-takedown procedures, TTAB actions, foreign oppositions, UDRP disputes, and federal litigation. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to manage complex U.S. and global trademark portfolios. Other requirements include: • Excellent academic credentials, including a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school • Strong research, writing and oral skills • The ability to manage a fast-paced, global and complex workload and docket while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills • The professional commitment and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with clients and succeed in a collaborative team environment • Must be admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio This position may be located in Cincinnati, OH; Cleveland, OH; or Columbus, OH. The salary offered in any location will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, geographic region, and relevant skills. Associates also participate in a performance- and hours-based bonus program. For Cleveland, OH, the expected annual salary range for this position is $220,000 to 225,000.
