Type of Experience: King & Spalding’s growing Finance practice seeks a staff attorney to join the Atlanta office. Qualified candidates will be self-starters with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask given competing demands, and have some experience with secured lending including Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Candidates should have strong academic credentials. The staff attorney will support the finance practice primarily by ordering and reviewing UCC lien searches, intellectual property lien searches, filing UCC and other lien documents as required, managing loan transaction closing processes, auditing files and completing routine post-closing matters. Candidates with experience building or managing transaction closing and monitoring processes are preferred.
