Oh, and you will be working on exciting cases with senior partners who are highly invested in your success! About You: 7+ years of labor experience. Strong experience in employment litigation, wage and hour litigation and class actions, administrative charges, investigations, and advice, and counseling. Traditional labor law experience is a plus (many of the employers we represent are unionized). Confident self-starter interested in developing a practice and growing an existing business. We are looking for someone who can interact with clients and “run a case” with minimal supervision. Must have a good client presence and a commitment to practicing law. Candidates must possess strong writing skills with the ability to write succinctly, strong research skills, ability to prioritize, and the ability to work individually as well as collaboratively. Experience with taking and defending depositions, making court appearances, drafting dispositive motions, and handling discovery. Experience reviewing and drafting employee handbooks/policies. Experience with traditional labor in the public or private sector (i.e. experience with handling discipline, terminations, and policy changes in unionized environment; experience responding to unfair practice charges and assisting with collective bargaining).
