Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a staff attorney to support its Transportation Finance practice in Charlotte. Qualified candidates will have experience in financial transactions and familiarity with the Uniform Commercial Code. Candidates will assist in all aspects of the practice, including drafting closing checklists, corporate certificates, security documents, schedules and other transaction documents. In addition, candidates will assist with lien filings, reviewing insurance certificates and other third party items, signature pages and post-closing matters. Familiarity with equipment finance documentation (purchase agreements, assignments, loan agreements and leases) and experience with transactions involving aircraft and rolling stock are preferred, but not required.
