We are seeking a talented and motivated mid-level associate with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our Labor & Employment Practice Group in New York. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our counseling services and litigation efforts. For the right candidate, this position will offer extensive client interaction, responsibilities, and career growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have the following requirements and qualifications: Possess a deep understanding of employment litigation, including claims for discrimination, retaliation, trade secret misappropriation, wage and hour violations, and other employment claims. Robust experience counseling clients on a wide range of employment matters, including, but limited to, employee discipline and termination, policy creation and administration, wage and hour matters, restrictive covenants, employment contracts, internal investigations, and leave of absence issues is a plus. Experience managing employment-related litigation process from discovery through trial, including drafting discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and summary judgement is a plus. Experience or familiarity with the deposition process and preparation is required. Demonstrate the ability to independently manage projects while effectively collaborating within a team environment. Exhibit exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills, along with superior research and analytical capabilities. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record. Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
