Berliner Cohen LLP is celebrating 55 years of success! Our downtown San Jose location has an immediate opening for a full-time Estate Planning Paralegal. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to support multiple attorneys. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and see tasks through from fruition to finish with excellent attention to detail. Education Requirements: Must possess a Paralegal certificate or a degree in paralegal studies. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and a Paralegal Certificate from American Bar Association (ABA) approved program. Experience Requirements: Minimum of five years’ experience working as a trust and estate planning paralegal. Must have experience in the following: Preparing probate estate and trust administration documentation. Preparing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance health care directives, deeds, and related documentation. Communicating with clients regarding trust and probate estate administration processes. This position is not hybrid or remote. The candidate must be willing to work onsite in our San Jose office. The Estate Planning Paralegal’s hourly pay range is expected to be between $52.00 to $60.00. The successful candidate for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
