Campbell Teague seeks an entry-level attorney (ideally, a May 2021 law school graduate) to join our rapidly growing team in a project management capacity. The position will be based in Greenville, SC but can work remotely. Criteria: The ideal candidate will appreciate that we are not your typical law firm, both in how we work and how our organization is structured. We use advanced technology to achieve more efficient results for our clients at honest prices. We operate in a team-based environment, where you won’t find many remnants of the traditional law firm hierarchy. The position will provide growth opportunities for the candidate in both the project management and attorney disciplines, based on the candidate’s interests and strengths. The candidate must clearly demonstrate the following minimum criteria: Law degree either recently obtained or expected in May 2021 Admission to South Carolina bar either recently obtained or expected in 2021 Superior research and writing skills, with an ability to convey ideas in the most precise and concise manner Familiarity with project management software and concepts, and an interest in applying those concepts to legal practice Advanced technological skills with ability to quickly learn and use new SaaS tools Natural curiosity and creative thinking to solve complex and novel problems Unwavering attention to detail An appreciation of the importance of details Relentless ability to take a project “across the finish line” Ability to thrive in a fast moving environment with changing deadlines Natural composure and personal presence in high pressure situations, with an ability to listen carefully and articulate the needs of clients and colleagues Welcomes responsibility for important decisions Adept at focusing and setting priorities Humility, and an ability to collaborate with, and take instructions from, non-attorney staff (this is an absolute must) Things you will do: Document drafting Filing with courts, government agencies, and regulators Manage complex projects, transactions, and litigation Review documents and data produced for litigation and transactions Organize complex files and datasets Manage and review data rooms for due diligence in transactions Use your talents to find creative solutions to complex problems Help lawyers and other project managers keep matters on track and manage client expectations Proactively scope, plan, budget, execute, and evaluate legal matters Communicate with clients, witnesses, court staff, other law firms, and government officials about the status of matters Help improve the quality, content, and consistency of client communications Develop and refine pricing strategies for various types of matters Review and assess analytics from previous matters to assess and improve profitability Nice to have but not required: accounting / finance background deep knowledge of Word, Clio, Slack, and Logikcull work experience in another industry conversational or fluent Spanish speaking abilities
