Job Description: Cooley LLP has an opportunity available to work in the business and securities litigation practice groups in our Palo Alto office. Preferred candidates should present a solid background in complex commercial litigation, business torts, and internal investigations. The candidate must have: (i) 4-6 years of significant litigation experience including excellent writing skills and oral advocacy; (ii) practiced in the Litigation Department of a comparable law firm; (iii) project-based experience, as well as the ability to multi-task on a variety of high-level assignments while continuously producing thoughtful, intelligent work product of superior quality; (iv) experience working with and also overseeing junior associates and professional staff in a collegial manner; and (v) a high level of academic achievement from a law school institution. Current admittance to the California bar required. Experience in the areas of technology litigation, securities class action defense, corporate governance and/or company v. company disputes preferred but not required. Successful candidate will join a dynamic office of a nationally prominent Litigation practice. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position is $310,000 - $390,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
