Job Description: Sands Anderson PC is seeking experienced attorneys who have a focused portable construction practice to join our growing Construction Law Team! Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five (5) years of construction law experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in mediation and arbitration, and trials in state and federal courts. Seeking qualified candidates with: Knowledge and experience regarding the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts for owners, tenants, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in the negotiation and drafting of construction contracts. Counseling clients on OSHA compliance, investigation, citations, disputes with licensing, delay and inefficiency, defective work, payment disputes, performance and payment bonds, mechanic’s liens, design and construction matters. Experience litigating construction-related claims, including construction defects, delay, cost overruns, bid protests, subcontractor disputes, and products liability Familiarity with AIA forms and LEED certification preferred Experience defending matters before the Construction Board also preferred Job Requirements: Sands Anderson is an attractive platform for attorneys whose clients appreciate that we provide a full suite of sophisticated legal services at competitive rates.
