The successful candidate will report to the Blackstone Real Estate Co-CCOs and work closely with various functions including Real Estate ESG professionals, Institutional Client Solutions/Public Affairs, Finance and other Blackstone Legal and Compliance groups. Responsibilities: The Real Estate Compliance Vice President will have the opportunity to participate in various concurrent projects and assignments across the Real Estate Compliance areas of responsibility, including but not limited to the following: ESG Point Person: <ul> <li> Primary contact for all Real Estate ESG compliance matters </li> <li> Oversee and participate in review process for external ESG statements </li> <li> Oversee Real Estate compliance with Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulations (SFDR) in coordination with Blackstone European Compliance team members </li> <li> Monitor ESG regulatory developments and keep key business stakeholders informed </li> <li> Coordinate with ESG teams across the firm </li> </ul> Real Estate Policies and Procedures: <ul> <li> Oversee updates and maintenance of Real Estate Compliance policies and procedures </li> <li> Develop and facilitate business professional compliance trainings for the Real Estate group </li> <li> Liaise with Central Compliance </li> </ul> External Relations/Investor Communications: <ul> <li> Oversee Real Estate Compliance review process for press releases and other external communications as well as responses to investor inquiries </li> </ul> Defined Contribution Plan Initiatives: <ul> <li> Assist with the launch of “collective investment trust” (CIT) funds-of-funds facilitating defined contribution plan participation in Blackstone Real Estate funds and other Blackstone vehicles </li> <li> Review relevant CIT documentation </li> <li> Coordinate with relevant underlying Blackstone fund teams on related issues </li> </ul> <ul> <li> Assist with firm-wide Legal and Compliance initiatives and projects </li> <li> Manage performance of applicable junior professionals and assist in talent development </li> <li> Assist with other day-to-day Real Estate Legal and Compliance matters as needed </li> </ul> Education and Professional Experience: Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, trustworthy, proactive, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. Expected annual base salary range: $140,000 - $200,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location.
