<p>Nova Labs is looking for a General Counsel to expand our internal legal team and support the company across a variety of areas including regulatory, litigation, tax, employment, and commercial transactions. <p><b> Your Role</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee, and provide counsel on, all legal matters for Nova Labs.</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge on the blockchain industry's evolving regulatory landscape and supervise our compliance and government relations efforts.</li>
<li>Manage work with outside attorneys including litigation, employment, public policy, regulatory, commercial, patents, and IP.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 5+ years experience as an attorney, having served as either general counsel to a technology-based and venture-backed company or an attorney with relevant experience at a major law firm.</li>
<li>Experience in regulatory law, public policy, and litigation.</li>
<li>Experience with or demonstrated enthusiasm for blockchain technology.</li>
<li>Ability to comprehend new technologies quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Capable of hiring staff and building a legal department.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Compensation:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Total compensation structure at Nova Labs is base salary + equity + perks/benefits</li>
<li>The salary pay scale for the target experience and target skill set for this role is $300k-$400k</li>
