Job Description: Foster Garvey is seeking an entry-level corporate associate with a demonstrated interest in corporate law to join its Business group in the Fall. This attorney will work with the Firm’s small and large business clients on sophisticated transactions in a wide variety of industry sectors and work with talented attorneys across the Firm’s six offices. These industries include sports, arts and entertainment, consumer brands/products, hospitality, and technology. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial practice while working on matters at a national level. The associate will learn corporate, commercial, and transactional intellectual property law and practice. Job Requirements: The successful candidate will have: JD from an ABA-accredited law school (by June 2024) and license to practice law (or be scheduled to sit for the July 2024 bar examination) Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills A client-service approach and exceptional communication skills Enthusiasm to work with and build a diverse team The ability to manage significant individual responsibilities The ability to work on and manage multiple projects at one time Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Responsive and professional service Candidates based in the Portland, OR and Spokane, WA areas will be considered. Salary Range: The annualized salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
