Wyrick Robbins is seeking an individual with 1-4 years of relevant experience in employment law to join its Labor and Employment practice. Qualified candidates will have experience counseling and defending employers in matters involving all state and federal employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, federal discrimination statutes and state wage and hour laws. Qualified candidates should be able to analyze employment documentation, including policies, practices, and agreements, and to assess risk and advise clients in due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Candidates should have the ability to draft and counsel employers on all employment-related contracts, such as employment agreements, severance agreements and covenants not to compete. Candidates will also be familiar with employment laws as they relate to employee hire, discipline, leave and termination. Excellent research and writing skills required. Employment litigation experience preferred, but not required. Top tier law school and top tier firm experience preferred. NC Bar admission preferred.
