Step into a role that goes beyond the ordinary – join us as a Senior Paralegal, where you will help be a catalyst for transformative legal solutions and innovation. We seek an aspiring solicitor or barrister with robust previous working experience for a top law firm, barrister’s chambers or an equivalent legal environment. As an important member of our team, you will bring an understanding of litigation and a willingness to work hard to share in the firm’s many future successes. You will work directly for the Associate to the Global Managing Partner, Chief Legal Officer and Acting General Counsel.· Conducting thorough research and analysis on a variety of discrete legal issues. · Reviewing and redrafting a range of legal documents, inter partes correspondence and pleadings. · Managing and organising various case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and in an efficient manner. · Liaising with clients, other legal professionals and external parties. · Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments, including changes in key statutory instruments and case law. · Handling administrative tasks, including the scheduling and minuting of key meetings and general deadline tracking. · Collaborating effectively with a team of legal professionals to achieve business objectives. What are the essential criteria? · Bachelor’s degree in Law (or equivalent). · Distinguished experience as a Paralegal (or equivalent) at a top law firm, barrister’s chambers or comparable legal environment (for example, working as a judicial assistant). · Excellent academic background, demonstrating a commitment to a successful career in the law. · Strong research and analytical skills, coupled with an unwavering attention to detail. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with clients, legal professionals, and team members. · Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and deadlines, demonstrating a keen sense of time management in a fast-paced legal environment. · Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel (as well as with Adobe). · Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing effectively to collective success.Pogust Goodhead employee commitment At Pogust Goodhead we believe in championing personal growth and achievements.
