The Boca Raton office of Cozen O’Connor is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join the Private Client Services group. The candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years paralegal experience in fiduciary litigation, guardianship and, probate and trust administration. The candidate should have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and be comfortable prioritizing and balancing a variety of tasks. The candidate must have the ability to manage confidential information with discretion, and a desire to grow in the position. The firm is offering a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office, 2 days remote for all paralegals. Fiduciary Litigation [including but not limited to Guardianship, Power of Attorney, Estate and Trust, Heath Care Surrogate] responsibilities: · Review and revise monthly billing on all cases · Draft all case documents including but not limited to motions, notices, pleadings, and discovery. · Prepare correspondences to all including but not limited to clerks, JAs, clients, beneficiaries, witnesses and co-counsel · Client management including but not limited to telephone calls, emails, case status, requests · Scheduling and coordinating meetings and telephone calls for the case including but not limited t depositions, hearings, and mediations · E-filing, E-service, E-recording · Organizing and indexing entire case file and prepare file for case · Research and document case law A four-year college degree or paralegal certificate required.
