Fish & Richardson P.C. is seeking a highly motivated trademark attorney to join our Silicon Valley office. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of U.S. and foreign trademark counseling, clearance, and prosecution experience including reviewing clearance searches and preparing substantive responses to PTO office actions. Experience with copyright filings, DMCA takedowns, and enforcement is a plus. Previous experience preparing and responding to cease and desist letters and handling other enforcement matters, including domain name disputes, UDRP actions, TTAB proceedings, and matters related to the use of trademarks, and filing takedowns, on social media platforms is also necessary. The position will involve drafting complaints, answers, motions and other pleadings in federal court trademark litigation cases, TTAB oppositions and cancellation actions, and preparing and responding to discovery requests. Excellent research skills, writing and academic credentials, and strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
