You will be an integral member of the Legal Department and will have the opportunity to operate in a dynamic environment to support the needs of Juniper Networks. You will work collaboratively with leaders across every department handling a full range of employment-related issues. A successful candidate would expect to learn new things about law, culture, or technology almost daily. You will be issue spotting, evaluating risks, and developing balanced solutions. Juniper’s Legal team is committed to employee development, and provides opportunities for employee-driven career growth in a supportive environment.<br> </p> <p><br> Responsibilities </p> <ul> <li>Primary point of contact to provide counseling for HR in Europe, Middle East, India, and APAC on employee-related matters. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Opportunities may arise to support major projects, including M&amp;A, compensation and benefits programs, and talent planning </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders from Finance, Tax, Payroll, Bus Dev and others on cross-functional projects impacting employees </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Keep stakeholders updated on major legal developments. Proactively manage projects to maintain compliance with evolving employment laws. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Respond timely to tactical and strategic employment law questions from around the world obtaining advice as needed from local counsels. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Assist on other matters as needed<br> </li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Requirements </p> <ul> <li>J.D. degree, strong academic credentials and a current state bar membership (any state is fine) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>5+ years of relevant legal experience at a top firm or in-house (a combination is a plus) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Cross-border and international experience </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Sound judgment that balances legal requirements with practical business needs </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and team-first attitude </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage many cross-functional projects simultaneously </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Desire to learn new areas of practice, develop skills and expand responsibilities </li> </ul>This position requires a team player who can communicate effectively with personnel across the world <br> <ul></ul> <p></p> <p>Minimum Salary: $132,000.00 </p> <p>Maximum Salary:$202,400.00 </p> <p>The pay range for this position is expected to be between $132,000.00 and $202,400.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. </p> <p>If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. </p> <p>Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.</p> </div></div>
