Our Corporate team specializes in cross-border corporate transactions, including private and public M&A, and joint ventures, supporting corporates, trading houses and financial sponsors. As a result of significant growth in our Japan business we are looking for a curious minded and enthusiastic Managing Associate to be a part of our Corporate team in Tokyo. Reporting to the Partners, in this role you will be involved in some of the most complex and interesting transactions in the market gaining first class corporate M&A experience across a broad range of sectors including financial sponsors, energy transition, FIG, technology and healthcare in particular. Key Responsibilities: Draft and review documentation, demonstrate familiarity with precedents and market standards. Provide commercial and legal advice to the client. Supervise and mentor junior team members. Network with clients to capitalise on new business opportunities. To succeed in this role, you will need to be collaborative and commercially minded, with strong client communication and project management skills.
