Candidates should have 3-5 years of civil litigation experience in private practice or government, experience managing written and e-discovery, drafting pleadings and legal memoranda, and handling depositions and hearings. We are seeking candidates with strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills who are eager to contribute to a dynamic litigation practice. Candidates must have a strong work ethic. Job Requirements: • Must be in good standing with the Virginia Bar; admission to federal Virginia courts preferred. • Must have 3+ years of civil litigation experience in private practice or government. • Experience in labor and employment law is a plus. • Must have experience with written and e-discovery, pleadings, legal memoranda, depositions, and hearings. • Must have strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills. • Must have a strong work ethic. Compensation: $235,000 - $365,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position.
