Job Description: Duties Under the direction of a partner, operate at a senior level within the firm’s Global Finance group. Advise clients on highly complex financing transactions and manage lending transactions representing sponsors and underwriters. Review strategic alternatives with partners. Oversee legal due diligence and transactional processes. Perform high level legal and regulatory research support as needed. Mentor mid-level and junior associates and support staff. Participate in efforts to grow and expand the practice through cross-marketing and other new business initiatives. Education + Experience Requirements JD and 6 years’ experience as a Lawyer, Junior Associate, Mid-level Associate, or Solicitor in global finance Special Skills Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Must have experience in each of the following: 1) advising clients on legal and regulatory issues related to acquisition and leveraged finance, fund finance, and restructuring transactions; 2) overseeing legal due diligence and transactional processes from initiation to closing within financial services, healthcare, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, and telecommunications industries; and 3) advising clients operating in Japan and other Asian regions, Europe, and Australia on complex international transactions Salary $420,000.
