THE POSTITION Goldberg Segalla LLP, a national law firm with more than 20 offices in 10 states, has an immediate opportunity for a Professional Liability Associate to join our New York practice. Once hired, the associate will have the opportunity to take an active role on a wide variety of litigation matters including representing licensed professionals in a range of professional liability matters, as well as participating in general litigation matters. The firm has a robust mentoring program that serves to assist our associates in their professional and business development. THE QUALIFICATIONS Qualified candidates will be admitted to practice in New York, and have 1-3 years of litigation experience assisting with or conducting discovery, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. The ideal candidate writes effectively, thinks strategically, and has practiced in one or more areas of civil litigation, such as general liability, professional liability and insurance defense. Dual admittance in Connecticut is highly desirable. THE BENEFITS The annualized salary range for this position is $85,000 to $165,000. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses, and a full benefits package.
