Williams Mullen is seeking an attorney with at least 7+ years’ experience in Labor and Employment or a small group to join our established Raleigh, NC office. Additional experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, conducting depositions, oral argument, drafting and reviewing contracts, and negotiating settlements. Ability to recognize the importance of early, accurate risk assessment, as well as experience working with management and in-house counsel, is considered a plus. Ideal candidates should have significant experience handling RFEs; preparing updates on fast-breaking developments in the field for email alerts. Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to assume individual responsibility for client matters and willingness to take initiative to solve problems. Strong writing credentials and excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required. Portable book required. Candidates must be currently licensed in North Carolina, able to immediately waive into North Carolina, or be a member of the bar in one or more US Jurisdictions and willing to sit for the North Carolina bar.
