The position of Associate will analyze patent applications in the highly advanced fields of electrical engineering, computer engineering and/or computer sciences. Consult with clients to ascertain technical details about inventions; review patent applications and complex terminology; analyze data to advise or recommend solution; interview clients to ascertain technical details of the invention to be patented; analyze information on patent applications to ensure compliance with the requirements of the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office; analyze claim rejections; recommend specific solutions for the preparation of the claim amendments; provide legal opinions regarding potential infringement and validity of patents. Undergraduate or graduate degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering and/or computer sciences. Law degree from an ABA accredited law school or state Bar admission.
