Jones Day’s Paris office has an immediate opening for a Capital Markets associate (junior to early mid-level) with transactional law firm experience. The successful candidate will be a key member of our practice, which is a unique combination of issuer and underwriter clients in cross-border deal work, covering the spectrum from CAC 40/Fortune 500 to Emerging Growth Companies. We advise on equity, transactions including IPOs and secondary offerings, innovative debt deals, and high-profile public M&A. We are looking for an intellectually curious and motivated attorney who enjoys tackling challenging legal questions and exciting deal execution. Qualified candidates should possess excellent oral and written French and English language skills. LLM, JD and/or Paris EFB appreciated. Admission to either the Paris Bar or a U.S. Bar (with a view to passing the Paris Bar as admission to the Paris Bar is required to work for the Paris office) required.
